ArtBeat initially bagan as an annual arts training and mentoring symposium, offering workshops in marketing, tax preparation, legal support, and consulting for aspiring and established artists that have art products or services as an income source. The Symposium focused on helping artists take their work to the next level of professionalism.

Due to the success of the program and the growing demand to assist individual artists, Eye of the Artists has developed bi-monthly workshops for individual literary, visual, and performing artists that are members of the program.

Members learn copyright basics, tips about marketing, self-promotion, creating programs for touring at schools and libraries, networking and collaboration opportunities, and much more.
