About Eye of the Artists Foundation
We are a 501(c) 3 arts organization established in 2001 by Artist/Poet Annie Ruth to expose the community to more fine arts in the schools, community, and other organizations. Our emphasis is primarily focused on training and educating youth, aspiring artists, and assisting other non-profit groups or charitable efforts that positively impact the community...
Eye of the Artists Foundation produces art workshops and leadership development sessions for youth. Projects that we’ve presented include Dada Rafiki, honoring positive women in the community through art, the My Sista My Friend Young Women's Conference, I Can READ Traveling exhibit, designing of curriculum art cards for the annual Black History through Art Outreach with the Westin Hotel in Cincinnati, and so much more.... Our belief is that art should be a part of everyone’s life and collaboration with community-based artists is essential.
During 2008 Eye of the Artists Foundation and a host of arts professionals within the community will present the ARTBeat Symposium & Artist’s Networking. The professional development program is scheduled for Saturday, April 5, 2008 from 12noon - 4:00 pm at the Cincinnati Hamilton County Community Action Agency, 1740 Langdon Farm Rd.
